Crssd Spring ’19 Review

The way that CRSSD does it every year is a formula that can not be touched. This all starts with the location, SD is a beautiful place and it is somewhere that is going to pull a great crowd no matter what the occasion. Now when you start to add an all-star lineup to go along with the great scenery you have yourself a music festival that is sure to sell out. CRSSD has been rather consistent with the sound that they bring to guide you on through the weekend during their biannual festival. Now another thing that is always mentioned that is done by CRSSD that keeps folks coming back is the price. This does have its pros and cons to it, but for the most part if you are smart and make the move when the tickets are on sale, its guaranteed to be worth every dollar.

This years spring edition’s City Steps really delivered a amazing line up with Maetrik ( Maceo Plex’s alter ego) , Pan-Pot, Enrico Sangiuliano and of course the Martinez brothers. If you were looking to get that dark techno journey, this is where you wanted to spend your time. CRSSD has put together some very nice City Steps lineups in the past but this has to be the deepest and most diverse group of DJs yet. Thanks to Mixmag, you can take a look at Rebekah and see why this is our favorite stage at CRSSD.

Now just because we love the techno vibe, does not mean that we can not appreciate the the house vibes that we get from The Palms. Artist like Lane 8, Doc Martin, Armin Van Helden, Justin Martin and more kept us grooving all weekend as we walk over to the palms. The vibes from this stage are always amazing as the crowd is just bouncing to the music that artist pump through the speakers all weekend. Just see the video below to catch the vibes that Sonny Fodera was putting out at The Palms on Sunday.

CRSSD Festival is a two-day electronic music festival at the  San Diego Waterfront Park with 3 stages with artist that will satisfy any music lovers hunger. This is part of the golden formula that helps continue to sell it out year after year. We cant wait to see what we get for the fall 2019 edition, but just be sure that you pick those tickets up when they go on sale, cause it is sure to sell out again and you do not want to miss it.
