Happy Cinco De Mayo! Its May and with it, comes a long line of amazing shows. This made it hard for us to make our choice but here is our top picks for the month. Take a look and let us know what you think of our picks, let us know if we missed something!


 AC Slater x LED presents Night Bass – Los Angeles, California

Sound Nightclub is bringing the Night Bass crew to LA! Driven by a passion for the best in Bass music, circling around UK Garage, Bassline, Grime, House and everything good in-between. Night Bass boss AC Slater made it his mission to expose North America to these strongly under-represented genres and in doing so, he’s established club and record label Night Bass as a wildly successful, internationally renowned institution for ground breaking, forward-thinking dance music that’s spearheading an underground movement across the country. Night Bass has taken over LA and Sound Nightclub, and we can never get enough of it and can not wait for the show on May 11th!


Lightning in a Bottle – Bradley, California

Lightning in a Bottle is an eclectic mix of music, art, and culture. In addition to music performances, the event also features guest speakers, visual and interactive art installations, yoga classes, group meditation, and other attractions. Many attendees camp on-site. There are many opportunities available for volunteering at the event such as participating as a performing artist in the DoArt Foundation’s Lightning in a Paintcan, known as the biggest live painting event in the United States. This year the line up consist of artist like Bassnectar, Richie Hawtin, Nic Fanciulli, Hernan Cattaneo, Rufus Du Sol and many more. The event will take place May 24th – 29th in Bradley, California at the San Antonio Recreation Area.


 Movement Electronic Music Festival – Detroit, Michigan.

Each year on Memorial Day weekend, thousands of people from across the globe gather in the birthplace of Techno to celebrate the heritage of Detroit and its musical influence over countless generations, new and old. Movement Detroit, one of the longest-running dance music festivals in the world, committed to showcasing authentic music and providing an experience unlike any other. With acts like Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Cajmere, Pan Pot, Seth Troxler, Chris Liebing, Barclay Crenshaw and TestPilot aka Deadmau5 techno moniker & many more. Movement Music Festival will take place over 3 nights (May 27-29) at Hart Plaza in Detroit Michigan. This is definetly a show that you do not want to miss if you are a fan of Techno music!
