His music is a blend of glitch hop, future funk, and electro soul, though his latest album will test the concept of genres as is ventures into many different musical realms. One might see some similarities to artists such as Griz, Pretty Lights, or Gramatik. Opiuo truly has a wide range of sounds, with some glitch heavy, mid-tempo tracks like “Sneakers”, to high energy bass-funk tunes such as one of his latests releases “Jelly” (shown below), as well as tracks that are reminiscent of the traditional big beat sound or dubstep. Each track on Omniversal is creative with plenty of texture and variety, making the album a full bodied musical journey that is sure to inspire minds and get those dancing shoes moving.

Opiuo is truly an artist that pushes his own limits, both in his productions and his shows. He has done everything from solo performances to shows with a full live band, making him a standout and fan favorite. He has been recognized for his ability to translate electronic productions into outstanding live performances. We hope you’ll join us for this amazing evening next weekend.
